Participants will explore the Dyslexia handbooks and guides issued by over 20 states. Participants will learn how their state’s legislation can point parents to available resources and services. Topics discussed will include early intervention, structured literacy instruction, multiple tiers of intervention and teacher competencies as outlined in the states’ Dyslexia handbooks/guides. Presented by Dee Rosenberg who served on the New Jersey committee that developed the state’s Dyslexia Handbook published in 2017.
