Managing Stress and Anxiety: Parents in a Pandemic

Mr. Smith will explore how stress and anxiety may look different for students during the pandemic and discuss how to help your child deal with these feelings. Effective strategies as well as helpful resources, for young children and teens, will be presented. 

Using Mindfulness During the Pandemic

Presented by: Marcia Allen, M.A., CCC-SLP

Anxiety often presents with physical reactions in the body.  Participants will delve into anxiety as an emotion and physical feeling, by exploring different strategies including mindfulness, yoga, and guided visualization that you can use during the pandemic. 

Recording of previous workshop coupled with live question/answer session.
